Weld Mesh Tree Shelter Guards

Weld Mesh Tree Shelter Guards provide a highly effective solution for protecting young or established trees from browsing and grazing animals such as deer, sheep, and livestock. Designed to offer lasting protection against animal damage, these guards are ideal for tree planting schemes, landscaping projects, and woodland management.

Manufactured from 12-gauge galvanised wire with a 25mm x 75mm grid size, these welded mesh guards are robust, durable, and built to withstand outdoor conditions while ensuring long-term tree protection. Supplied pre-formed and semi-rolled, they are easy to transport and install. The mesh is split down its length, allowing it to wrap around the tree and stake with ease and be securely fastened using cable ties or staples (sold separately).

The Weld Mesh Tree Shelter Guards are available in two sizes:

1.2m x 300mm Diameter – Protects against Roe/Muntjac deer, sheep, and small grazing livestock.

1.8m x 300mm Diameter – Protects against Red/Fallow deer and cows.

These guards are particularly suitable for use with a single machine round tree stake, offering a stable, high-level barrier to keep livestock and deer away from vulnerable trees. They are pre-formed for convenience, ensuring fast and efficient installation, even around established trees.
